It is said that when legendary golfer and architect Jack Nicklaus created the Kiele Course at Kauai Lagoons, the terrain lent itself so well to his vision that he made but a single change to his original design. Little wonder the Kiele was named 'Best New Resort Course' after opening in 1989 and continues to be regarded as one of the finest golf gems in the Pacific.
The resort's second Nicklaus layout, the Mokihana, is considered a Scottish style links course with rolling fairways that are more open and void of forced carries. The real challenge of the Mokihana lies in its undulating greens making it a great test for skilled putters. Rated by Golf Magazine as one of the ten most playable courses in America, the Mokihana makes the perfect companion to the Kiele.
